An Aesthetic Movement gilt and ebonised sidetable. In the manner of E.W.Godwin. Made by Woof and Whitaker of Sheffield. A complicated yet wonderful design with good proportions, the octagonal top with shaped supports below with 8 turned and incised legs united by a double row of turned strtchers on ceramic and brass castors. Circa 1880's. Height 25", width 22", Depth 22".
