WAS Benson. Rare pair of brass wall lights with the original Powell flint shades

A rare pair of WAS Benson wall lights with the original Powell flint shades which are perfect, not a nibble or chip. Completely original and both collars are stamped Benson.
On the last image is the original catalogue image of the wall lights, model number 1386 from his red cover catalogue, a high quality publication with what's considered his better items.
The second number in the entry '1218' relates to the double shade. Shades were the particular choice of the buyer with so many combinations to chose from on display in Benson's showrooms, Morris and Co's showrooms and the many other outlets his lights were retailed from inc Samuel Bings showrooms in Paris.
The opaque flint shades by James Powell of Whitefriars are extremely rare to find, let alone in perfect condition
