Set of Twelve Arts & Crafts Glasgow School Oak Dining Chairs with Tulip Details

SOLD

E A Taylor attributed, probably made by Wylie & Lochhead.

A set of twelve Arts & Crafts Glasgow school tall back oak dining chairs with leather head rest and subtle tulip detail to the back and twin central stretchers uniting the side stretchers.

They have all been totally restored in our workshops each chair has been dismantled and all the joints cleaned, glued, re assembled and clamped over night, then the finish has been gently cleaned back and waxed. We have had then all professionally reupholstered in a quality green leather. If the leather doesn't work for your interior because the main upholstery work underneath has all been carried out, to change the green leather would be a simple task of removing the studs and applying a new covering with new studs.
