An impressive Arts and Crafts copper coal bucket with a single flowering seed pod, the roots of which are of blind riveted fretwork to the base. The sides with similar riveted decoration to the base, flowing up with hand riveted decoration around the circular swivel handle sides.

Robert Hilton was appointed Director of the Keswick School of Industrial Arts from 1904 to 1921.

This was made before 1904.

Hilton Ware mark on the base.
