A pair of Aesthetic Movement ebonised side chairs from the Sussex range designed by Dante Gabriel Rossetti with fine fan back spindles and turned legs, originally had rush seats now upholstered.

We can have new rush seats laid if required at a cost of £250 each, this includes dismantling the chairs, cleaning all the joints, re glueing and clamping over night. This should always be completed before the new rush is laid because if the chair becomes loose at the joints afterwards, then the rush would have to be cut off to repair the chairs. You can see various rush seat chairs where I have had the rush renewed on my site here for an idea of how they would look restored.
