M H Baillie Scott made by John P White at the Pyghtle Works. A rare Arts and Crafts oak dining table. The end cross planked top sails over the high angled side skirts. Each skirt forming one complete panel of quarter sawn oak joined and pegged to the offset legs. With finely shaped sledge style feet, united by a central floor stretcher with exposed through tenon joints to each end, and pegged throughout. Retaining the original finish with original wear in places where the top is slightly lighter. This clever solid design gives an extra feeling of room for your legs and feet.
