Minnie Dibdin Spooner. A silver plated hand enamelled jewelry box with cupid and a Fairy on flowing blue regalia. The box interior with felt lining, Signed to left hand lower side M Spooner Minnie Dibdin Spooner (née Davison) was an American painter, Illustrator, designer and sculptor. She was married to the architect Charles Spooner. Charles Spooner is noted as one of the three founders of the Arts and Crafts Movement. They worked on many projects together as co-designers.
