Liberty & Co attributed, A good Arts & Crafts 1/4 sawn oak chess table with alternating burr sycamore and walnut squares to the top surrounded with mahogany and ebony banding with further rosewood cross banding, edged with boxwood stringing, on tapering square legs united by cross stretchers with a smaller square chequer board shelf below.
