A Lambs of Manchester compactum style wardrobe with castellated cornice and twin panelled doors opening to reveal hanging space to the left and four open slides with two smaller drawers to the right and two large drawers to the lower section on a plinth style base with brass 'T' bar handles. Lambs were amongst the top manufacturers of artistic furniture of the late Victorian period and produced some of the very best in design and quality. Height 88", Width of cornice 56", Depth of cornice 23". Internal measurements of the hanging space to the left hand side are Depth 19" and Width 24 1/2". Circa 1880.
