Johannes Andersen made by Uldum Møbler, Denmark. Set of eight dining chairs with a sculptural style about them, consisting of six dining chairs and two original armchairs. The armchairs are scarce and quite hard to find, all with original leather upholstery in good condition. Johannes Andersen (1903-1991) was a Danish furniture designer who played an important role in shaping the mid-century modern design movement in Denmark. He trained as a cabinetmaker before he started studying at the School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen.
