A 'flame mahogany' bureau bookcase by JS Henry with upper shelf flanked by extended capped uprights and two drawers below with drop down front with fabulous copper strap hinges and handle opening to reveal leather writing area and pigeon holes to the back with central drawer and a full length drawer below with lower cupboard the whole on sledge feet. Circa 1900. Height 54 1/2", Width at sledge feet 28", Depth at sledge feet 16". Circa 1900.
