E. W. Godwin style Anglo-Japanese oak Hallstand

A fine quality Anglo-Japanese oak Hallstand with upper panels depicting songbirds perched in cherry blossoms and a central bevelled mirror, with the lower panels depicting apples and pears.

The central drawer features tramline decoration highlighted with ebonized line detail, flanked by arched and half-turned details with turned uprights to the front.

A strong Anglo-Japanese design is incorporated into the umbrella/stick stand compartments to each side, with sunflower carved details to the front and back.

A lower shelf incorporates the drip compartments to each side, with zigzag detailing to the chamfered edges, all stood on turned ball feet with shaped supports to each side.
