Bruce Talbert for Gillows. a walnut octagonal table aligned to the Aesthetic Movement (1860–1890), c.1880. The form follows Talbert’s characteristic use of architectural lightness, geometric clarity and repeated turning details. The last image is of a line drawing of a known Bruce Talbert desk design, we can see the same details to the turnings on the legs and stretchers and particularly the through joints of the stretchers uniting to and following through the legs.
