E W Godwin attributed. Two Anglo-Japanese Aesthetic Movement Ebonized armchairs

POA

E W Godwin attributed. Two Anglo-Japanese Aesthetic Movement Ebonized armchairs. One has been professionally re-upholstered with embossed gilded leather sunflower heads replicating Godwin's furniture he designed for Lord Limerick's Dromore Castle in Ireland in the early 1870's. This one has castors on the back legs. The second one retains the original Aesthetic Movement fabric and although the fabric is highly worn in places and will require re-upholstery, it is rare to see.
