A rare and beautiful Anglo-Japanese or aesthetic movement rosewood cabinet made by Collinson and Lock of London, with finely detailed brass drop scroll work handles and Anglo-Japanese incised basket weave detailed back plates.

Stamped 'Collinson and Lock - London - 7784'

Collinson and Loch were one of the most important furniture makers to emerge out of London in the mid Victorian period the furniture they produced was of the highest you could achieve back then. They were absorbed by Gillows of Lancaster in the 1890s.
