Dr C Dresser attributed for Colebrookdale. A rare set of 18 Anglo-Japanese cast iron stair or/and balcony balustrades including the original knurl post making 19 pieces in total. There are 11 with round bar extensions to the bases which fit into pre drilled holes in the side of a staircase and another seven with circular plates to the bases these have three screw holes in each to screw them to the staircase sides or the base of a balcony. Both fixings could be modified to match. This design was registered at the Public Records Office on 15th November, 1872. Staircase knurl post measures height 36 inches, width x depth 6 inches. The height of the balustrades vary with the top bars a little longer than others they all measure from between 35.5 inches tall and 37 inches tall.
