Bruce Talbert Attri, Gillows Lancaster, Aesthetic Movement Ebonised & Gilt Desk

Bruce Talbert attr, made by Gillows and Co of Lancaster. Aesthetic Movement ebonised and parcel gilt desk. The upper shelf surmounted by a brass gallery, with a small central bevelled mirror and a black leather writing area with gilt tooling to the edges. Twin drawers with stylised brass handles. Turned, fluted and incised gilded legs with 'D' end stretcher and a luxury leather foot rest to the centre. Shaped side supports with small turned gallery above carved rosettes and on bun feet with inset brass castors. Stamped Gillows and Co inside the drawer and numbered 806.
