Arts and Crafts Copper Wall Sconce, Attributed to a H Mackmurdo

Arthur Heygate Mackmurdo and The Century Guild (attributed), an Arts and Crafts copper wall sconce attributed to Kellock Brown, hammered and embossed with a domed lobed top above a titled figure of 'Winter' flanked by straps forming the three sconce supports below. In the staircase of Pownhall Hall is a window that represents the Four Seasons; See 'Studio' 1899, p. 190 for two comparable examples.
