Ambrose Heal for Heals and Son London. A rare and early pair of oak Arts and Crafts side chairs with ebony and pewter chequered inlays. The front legs of these chairs are an unusual design where the upper square section turns to oval in shape giving them a subtle elegance all of their own. We have had the seats professionally re caned.
