A very rare six leg cane seated armchair

SOLD

A very rare six leg cane seated armchair designed by R. Edis. It would seem that this chair may have been an experimental chair and although it follows closely Edis original four leg version it is quite a design achievement in it's overall form and very functional. Circa 1880.
