A Birmingham Guild of Handicraft silver plated table lamp by A.S.Dixon. Height 13" 34cm to where the lamp holder pivots with the scrolled wing nut, Width 10 1/2" 26.5cm across the flats at the feet and one foot has an original piercing wall hung. Circa 1895. This table lamp has all the traits of Dixon, his domed shaped foot as shown in the last but two images identical to the brass foot of a Dixon 3 leg bowl which was exhibited at Blackwell, his famous rat tail (twinned as in tension screw for the swivel adjustment just below the socket end).
