A rare and important Anglo-Japanese walnut and silk fire screen in the Japanese Torri Gate style with a silk Japanese village scene to the front, and although worn, to the back there are peacock designs within circles in the same style as Godwin designed for Jeffrey and Co, including the kissing birds he also designed in a circle formation.
