E A Taylor. An exhibition quality Glasgow School oak side board designed by E A Taylor with wonderful stylised floral painted panels. To the upper section there is a pair of cupboards with a central plate rack and a full width plate rack below. A pair of drawers to the lower section which have been cleverly designed to be a part of the angular front, with a row of drawers below flanked by a pair of large cupboards and silver plated handles with split heart cut-outs.

A small Arts and Crafts oak sideboard in the style of George Walton with flaring cornice, four small upper cupboards the central pair with arched doors and a small work area in front, a pair of drawers with stylised copper handles (the other is being repaired), a large lower cupboard with carved stylised floral details to the doors and shaped aprons to the front and sides on ribbed square flaring legs.

An Oak Arts and Crafts sideboard in the manner of E A Taylor and made by P.E.Gane. It has a very unusual slide that gives you extra serving area which pulls out from just below the centre of the main work area. It also has stunning stained glass panel to upper right hand cupboard, inlaid with Tulip wood, Stained Sycamore and Walnut to each side, above the work area and hand made handles.

A Glasgow School Arts and Crafts oak buffet with Plank sides and central plank back the accenuated tops and the split heart inlays a typical detail of Taylor and Ednie but Ednies work more follows Mackintosh's style and with the arched details at the bottom of the planks and turned disc details to the uprights with the sweetest square detail just above the turned disks with these Mackintosh style details it is more likely to be by him.

A Mahogany display cabinet in the manner of EATaylor and made by Goodhall, Lambs and Heighway with stylised floral inlays of fruitwoods and ebony, framed by chequer inlays. The sweeping top with central cubby hole inlaid with a Glasgow rose to each corner and twin shaped turnings to the centre, flanked by 2 display areas with Talwin Morris style stained glass, further inlaid roses to each side, the 2 main display cabinets below with wonderful stylised Glasgow Roses to the centre and an elongated whiplash stem and Rose which opens to reveal 3 small shelves, the bevelled glass doors which break back at 30 degrees all surrounded with chequered inlay flanked by elongated refined twin turned columns with further stylised inlays below and arched apron. Circa 1900.

An Arts and Crafts oak sideboard designed by Ernest Archibald Taylor for Wylie and Lochhead with superb stylised Glasgow Roses to each lead glass door, flaring cornice with shaped support brackets, serving area below, tremendous stylised carved Glasgow Roses to all 4 doors, with superb hand formed copper handles and hinges which were originally silver plated but had been polished through to the brass in many places which I have now had re-silvered. Another example typical of his stunning exhibition work.

A Glasgow School cabinet designed by George Logan, made by Wylie and Lochhead. A bedroom suite by George Logan which he designed for the Wylie and Lochhead Pavillion Exhibition of 1901 also has Harebells and tiny little carved butterflys which are almost identicle, it is quite likely that this cabinet was exhibited at that exhibition.
The cabinet has a superb pierced and carved stylised butterfly to the centre back and display area below, flanked by stylsed floral carved details to the upper frontal ends and 3 fantastic lead glass panels almost certainly made by Macullocks who made glass for Wylie and Lochhead depicting 3 pure white plump Doves in flight with Harebells growing from the lower section panels in sliding doors with adjustable shelves behind. Circa 1901.
