A matching Arts and Crafts fire place set with an adjustable club style fender with a seat to each side. The seats pop off with storage below including the original matching fire screen with embossed galleons and shields. (fire insert is sold).

Ernest Gimson. A rare pair of polished steel and brass Arts and Crafts fire dogs designed by Ernest Gimson and made by Alfred Bucknell. The upper florets are cast in brass and silver plated. An original drawing by Gimson of a pair of pierced brass andirons based on 17th Century examples at Haddon Hall in Derbyshire have the identical upper florets.
They show Gimson's passion for using natural forms within his work, with leaves and flowering details.
